Tour some of Alaska’s most beautiful and exciting attractions by boat, motor coach, and rail way. You will get the most out of just a few days as you visit the spectacular Denali National Park, and tour the breathtaking city of Anchorage, and the picturesque town of Talkeetna.
Day 1: Seward - Anchorage After arriving in Seward, you’ll be transferred to your dayboat for your cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. This evening, travel on the Alaska Railroad to Alaska’s largest and most metropolitan city, Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage – Talkeetna Board the McKinley Explorer this morning and travel to Talkeetna. There is time this afternoon and evening for optional tours of the Talkeetna area, including flightseeing and river rafting. Overnight Talkeetna.
Day 3: Talkeetna - Denali Midday, continue your travels to Denali National Park aboard the luxurious glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer. Upon arrival in Denali, you will have many opportunities to explore the area just the way you want to, but we recommend helicopter flightseeing or the Cabin Nite Dinner Theater. Overnight Denali.
Day 4: Denali - Anchorage Join us on the Natural History Tour and learn about this fascinating area. This afternoon you’ll travel south along the Park’s Highway via deluxe motor coach to Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage
Day 5: Anchorage We’ll transport you to the airport and say goodbye until next time.
Reverse itinerary for pre-cruise options begins in Anchorage before traveling to Denali and Talkeetna. It then ends in Seward, where your cruise begins.
