It doesn't take a lot of time to have a great time in Alaska. This 5 day/4 night itinerary includes fantastic scenic highlights in Kenai Fjords, Talkeetna, Denali, Anchorage and all along the way. Don't miss this fabulous way to begin your cruise.
Day 1: Anchorage Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska's largest and most cosmopolitan city, and we'll transfer you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore.
Day 2: Anchorage - Denali This morning you'll board a deluxe motorcoach for your scenic drive to Denali National Park. After checking in to your hotel, join us on a Natural History Tour of Denali National Park.
Day 3: Denali - Talkeetna There's time this morning for optional tours, or just enjoy the spectacular views from your hotel. Then, board the McKinley Explorer glass-domed railcars for your journey to Talkeetna, one of the most eclectic frontier towns in Alaska. The afternoon is free for your own explorations of this fascinating part of the Great Land.
Day 4: Talkeetna - Anchorage Take time this morning for optional tours; this afternoon you'll reboard the McKinley Explorer for your continuing journey south to Alaska's largest city, Anchorage.
Day 5: Anchorage - Seward This morning you'll board the Alaska Railroad railcars for your trip to Seward. Upon arrival, board your dayboat for an unforgettable cruise through the Kenai Fjords National Park. Be sure to bring your camera and loads of film! At the conclusion of your tour, transfer to your cruise ship for the next part of your Alaska adventure.
