It doesn't take a lot of time to have a great time in Alaska. This 5 day/4 night itinerary includes fantastic scenic highlights in Kenai Fjords National Park, Talkeetna, Denali National Park and Anchorage. Don't miss this fabulous way to begin your cruise tour.
Day 1: Anchorage Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska's largest and most cosmopolitan city, and we'll transfer you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage - Denali This morning you'll board a deluxe motor coach for your scenic drive to Denali National Park. After checking in to your hotel, join us on a Natural History Tour of Denali National Park. Overnight Denali.
Day 3: Denali - Talkeetna There's time this morning for optional tours, or just enjoy the spectacular views from your hotel. Then, board the McKinley Explorer glass-domed railcars for your journey to Talkeetna, one of the most eclectic frontier towns in Alaska. The afternoon and evening are free for your own explorations of this fascinating part of the Great Land. Overnight Talkeetna.
Day 4: Talkeetna - Anchorage Take time this morning for optional tours; this afternoon you'll reboard the McKinley Explorer for your continuing journey south to Alaska's largest city, Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 5: Anchorage - Seward This morning you'll board the Alaska Railroad railcars for your trip to Seward. Upon arrival, board your dayboat for an unforgettable cruise through the Kenai Fjords National Park. Be sure to bring your camera! At the conclusion of your tour, transfer to your cruise ship for the next part of your Alaska adventure.
