DENALI: DENALI JEEP TOUR OPERATIONS
Mid-May through Mid-September Full-Time Seasonal Positions
RATE OF PAY: $10.00 per hour, training wage $7.15 per hour
HOUSING: $375 per month single, $250 per month shared (Includes three meals a day, seven days a week and utilities)
JOB OUTLINE:
- Personnel will be stationed in the Denali National Park Area the entire season.
- Perform daily operations of the Denali Self-Drive Adventure Jeep Tour including fueling, washing, and minor maintenance of the Jeeps.
- Give detailed verbal instructions to guests using the Meander GPS Narration System.
- Meet and Greet guests arriving to Denali National Park as well as direct boarding procedures for the McKinley Explorer Railcars or Gray Line of Alaska coaches.
- Describe, Promote, and Sell the Denali Self-Drive Adventure Jeep Tour.
- Complete a daily log of occurrences of the day for the next shift.
- Perform other customer service functions and duties as assigned or warranted.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Required skills involving teamwork, professional oral and written communication, time and stress management.
- Must be able to learn daily dispatch, documents, passenger manifests, and other company related materials.
- Job duties may require lifting 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a variety of co-workers inside and outside of the company.
- Demonstrate confidence and professionalism in public communications, interactions, and customer service.
- Willing to commit to a minimum 100-day employment contract.
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record in order to operate company vehicles. **

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizen or able to legally work in the U.S.
- Must enjoy working with all types of people.
- Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum 100-day season.
- Must be able to perform a wide variety of customer service and administrative tasks.
