McKinley Explorer Train Service
ABOUT US
Our exclusive, luxury railcars, the McKinley Explorer, are where the "Orient Express" meets the last frontier on a scenic journey through the heart of Alaska between Anchorage and Fairbanks. These award-winning cars feature full glass domes, a full-service restaurant, and our exceptional staff. Our Car Managers lead the team, acting as a conductor of sorts: they "conduct" the tour experience on board, providing narration and leadership. They are assisted by the Bartender serving drinks and sharing stories under the glass. Downstairs, our Waitstaff, Chef, and Dishwashers deliver a fine dining experience at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meanwhile, our Gift Shop Attendants will offer guests mementos of their travels on the McKinley Explorer. Traveling from car to car you can find our Train Sales Representative selling optional tours for guests' destination - whether it be Anchorage, Denali, or Fairbanks. Finally, the Consist Manager provides oversight and leadership for the entire group to maintain guest comfort, employee standards, and mechanical operations.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Positions on board the McKinley Explorer can be the most rewarding rail positions in Alaska. Our standards are high, and we recruit only the best staff.

If you are offered a position with the McKinley Explorer, your offer will be contingent upon your stated availability in your application.
