As a Tour Director with us, you will serve as a traveling concierge for groups of up to 52 guests on the most comprehensive Cruise Tours available in Alaska. You will be responsible for taking care of every detail of our guests' vacations, insuring a 5-star experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a team environment with Driver Guides and other company employees to provide seamless customer service on every facet of the tour.
We invite you to join our team of professional Tour Directors who take pride in their roles as concierge, entertainer, travel coordinator, and friend.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
This morning you greeted your tour members as they boarded the coach to drive off on another day of adventure, day 3 of 10. All 52 guests returned your warm smile. Your teammate and Driver Guide jokes with Mr. Anderson about yesterday's antics on tour: wasn't your moose game a lot of fun?
You have already completed your paperwork from yesterday and are ready for a new day of adventure yourself.
Good thing you didn't forget that Mrs. Randolph needs the front seat - she seemed especially slow this morning! As the coach pulls away from the hotel, you tell a joke and remind the group of today's itinerary. Later, you will present all of the exciting optional tour offering available at tomorrow's destination; and, hopefully take orders. For now, you sit in the back and begin your day's paperwork while enjoying the Driver's entertaining commentary.
After helping ladle soup at the lunch stop, you and your Driver consult on the rest of the day's activities. It's decided: this afternoon you surprise the Johnsons with their 50th anniversary cake and balloons.
Upon arrival in town, you outline for your guests everything there is to do tonight, and all the details for tomorrow's tour. After sitting in the lobby addressing additional questions and concerns, you grab dinner before rejoining your group for an evening of vaudeville entertainment. Better get to bed: it's another full day tomorrow!
