Is your time at a premium? This tantalizing mini-tour takes you to the grand mountain that defines Alaska and the abundant wildlife that thrives in Denali National Park. The matchless vistas showcased aboard our luxurious motor coaches and fully domed rail cars only enhances the adventure.
You can customize your itinerary with a variety of modifications to make your Alaska vacation your own. The following is just one of many possible itineraries this package allows — enjoy!
Day 1: Anchorage We'll pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your Anchorage hotel. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage – Denali Journey between the mountains of the spectacular Alaska and Talkeetna ranges on an incomparable sightseeing experience aboard our luxury motor coach. Take in the wide-open scenery as you travel through the Matanuska Valley, a farming region known for mammoth vegetables; past colorful towns like Wasilla, billed as the "Home of the Iditarod;" and along scenic rivers like the Susitna, which means "Mother River".
By afternoon you arrive in Denali National Park. Here, you can choose from a wide range of optional activities like river rafting, helicopter flightseeing, or horseback riding. Overnight Denali.
Day 3: Denali – Anchorage Take time this morning to choose from one of many complimentary park-sponsored activities and optional Denali tours including guided hikes; plus white-water rafting, fixed-wing flightseeing and horseback riding.
Later, you will board the McKinley Explorer rail cars and return to Alaska's largest city, Anchorage, retracing your journey along the scenic Alaska Railroad. Your tour ends with a transfer to a downtown hotel (accommodations not included).
