Across the border, you’ll find Klondike gold rush adventure with a Yukon River cruise, two days in Dawson City and an overnight in Skagway. To complete your Alaska tour, overnight in Juneau, the charming state capital.
Day 1: Anchorage We’ll transfer you to your hotel. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage – Denali Travel deep into the spectacular mountains of the Alaska Range aboard luxurious glass-domed railcars to Denali National Park. Overnight Denali.
Day 3: Denali – Fairbanks Come with us on the Tundra Wilderness Tour to explore our favorite parts of Denali National Park and try to spot moose, caribou, bear and Dall sheep. The afternoon is reserved for an enchantingly scenic ride aboard the train. Overnight Fairbanks.
Day 4: Fairbanks – Tok Enjoy a fascinating motor coach journey on the famed Alaska Highway to the village of Tok. Overnight Tok.
Day 5: Tok – Dawson City Listen as your motor coach driver regales you with tales of the Gold rush era as you make your way to the site where gold was first found - Dawson City. Enjoy a fully narrated, round-trip riverboat excursion this afternoon aboard the nostalgic Klondike Spirit paddle-wheeler. Overnight Dawson. (L,D)
Day 6: Dawson City Today is free for optional tours. Explore on your own or choose optional tours including a self-drive Jeep tour, river rafting, city tour or a motor coach journey to Tombstone Territorial Park where you can take a guided hike or naturalist excursion. Overnight Dawson City.
Day 7: Dawson City – Whitehorse Travel along the beautiful Klondike Highway. After lunch in Minto, you’ll arrive in Whitehorse, capital city of the Yukon Territory. This evening, take in the hilarious Frantic Follies Revue. Overnight Whitehorse. (L)
Day 8: Whitehorse – Skagway Experience the summit of White Pass and watch for remnants of the Stampede Trail along the way down to sea level. Overnight Skagway.
Day 09: Skagway – Juneau Explore picturesque Skagway this morning. Take a last look at the spectacular natural setting of Skagway on your way to the airport. Fly to Juneau and transfer to your hotel in Alaska’s capital city. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight Juneau.
Day 10: Juneau We’ll take you to the airport and sadly say our good-byes until next time.
