Day 1: Anchorage Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Explore Alaska’s largest city on your own or just relax. This evening, meet your tour director and traveling companions at a casual “get to know you” reception. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage – Denali Breakfast with your new friends will be on the rails this morning, as you board the luxury railcars to Denali National Park. Tonight you’ll be regaled with a sumptuous dinner and homespun entertainment at Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre. Overnight Denali. (B, D)
Day 3: Denali Enjoy breakfast with your group before you venture into Denali National Park on the famed Tundra Wilderness Tour. Watch for big game and other Alaskan wildlife. Weather permitting; Mt. McKinley may be visible in its breathtaking splendor. You will also have time to participate in some of the park’s complimentary activities, or select from thrilling optional activities such as a jet boat ride. Overnight Denali. (B, S)
Day 4: Denali - Copper River Today, enjoy breakfast with your tourmates before transitioning from Denali National Park to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The scenery is breathtaking and your stay at the luxurious Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge will definitely be memorable. Overnight Copper River. (B)
Day 5: Copper River The Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is situated on 200 acres at the junction of the Klutina and Copper Rivers with spectacular mountain views and breathtaking scenery of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the largest national park in the United States.
With this day on your own, check with your tour director for the various optional land excursions you can explore to ensure your tour is a one of a lifetime experience. Overnight Copper River. (B)
Day 6: Copper River – Cooper Landing After breakfast, travel by motor coach to Cooper Landing and stay at the remarkable Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge. Tonight, enjoy a hosted farewell dinner. Overnight Cooper Landing. (B, D)
Day 7: Cooper Landing - Anchorage Today, you'll enjoy a scenic wildlife and glacier cruise, lunch included, through magnificent Kenai Fjords National Park. Your friendly crew will point out porpoises, sea otters, seals, whales and dozens of seabird species. Later, you'll travel the Turnagin Arm back to Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage. (B, L)
Day 8: Anchorage Extend your Alaska vacation with a variety of Gray Line travel opportunities, or end your Alaska tour here. We’ll take you from your hotel to the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
