2008 Excursion - Husky Homestead
Approximately 2.5 hours. Join an intimate group for a personal tour of the year-round homestead of four-time Iditarod Sled Dog Race champion Jeff King and his wife, well-known wildlife artist Donna Gates King, at spectacular Goose Lake. Widely heralded as the most authentic and entertaining look into rural Alaskan lifestyles, your visit includes holding husky puppies, greeting more than 60 world-class sled dogs, and sharing 25 years of Alaskan tales of the trail.

Departure Times: 8:30am, 12:30pm, 7:00pm

No wheelchair lifts or handicap accessible rest room facilities.
Not recommended for children under 3 years of age!
