2008 Excursion - Knik Glacier Jet Boat Tour
Approximately 4 hours. The Knik River starts at the Knik Glacier. This destination boasts a 3- to 5-mile wide glacier that is 200 feet high. View massive floating icebergs and, just beyond the glacier, amazing snowcapped mountains. Look for sheep on the steep mountainsides and listen to the ice fracture from across the lake.
