2009 Excursion - Klondike River Float Trip
Take a gentle float trip on the Klondike River.  After transferring from downtown Dawson City, you’ll meet your guides who will outfit you for your tour, as well as give instruction on basic rafting safety guidelines.  After you put in on the river, you’ll enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape as your raft floats along on gentle currents.  Be on the lookout for local flora and fauna as your guide will fills you in on the history of the area, and you’ll see the remnants of gold claims from long ago.   Your rafting trip ends on the Yukon River in downtown Dawson City, where your transfer vehicle is waiting to take you back to your hotel.  A snack is provided.

You will have an opportunity to paddle on this tour. Wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. A life jacket is provided. Please bring your own rain gear and sun screen. Early season dates are weather dependent (when the ice breaks up).
