2010 Excursion - Rock Creek Trail Interpretive Hike
The Rock Creek Trail Interpretive Hike is a wonderful opportunity to get inside Denali National Park for a refreshing hike through the forest. You will be met at your hotel by your guide(s) and be driven to the trailhead adjacent to the Visitor Center. A brief safety orientation will be given, then the group will head off on the trail. This is an improved trail with good visibility throughout. Moose are sometimes seen in the area and some nice overlooks are available. The trail is approximately 4 miles long and is a loop, returning to the Visitor Center via the Roadside Trail. This popular hiking excursion spends 30 - 45 minutes at the Denali National Park Visitor Center, before or after your hike.

Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and be prepared for any weather.
