2010 Fishing - Remote Fly Fishing via Jet Boat
Transfer from your Denali hotel to the put-in on the Nenana River. Meet your guide who will outfit you with your waders and fly gear. Then it's off to a remote wilderness stream via jet boat. Using light weight fly gear and barbless hooks you will learn the basics of fly casting, how to match the hatch, landing fish and catch-and-release techniques for Arctic grayling. Fishing is on local streams and will vary depending on conditions. No previous fly fishing experience is required however walking and wading on uneven terrain should be expected.

Please bring $20 cash for your required, one-day Alaska fishing license. All fishing gear, flies, rain jackets and hip waders are included. Bring extra socks, bug repellant and your camera. Dress in layers and be prepared for any weather.

Departure times: 7:15AM, 1:15PM, 5:45PM
