This tantalizing mini-tour is packed with unforgettable sights and adventures. The matchless vistas and the intriguing animals that thrive in Denali National Park combine with travel aboard luxurious railcars. You'll experience both sides of Denali with a night near the park entrance and a night at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge on the south side of the park plus two nights in Anchorage for the Alaska vacation of your dreams.

Day 1: Anchorage

Upon arrival in Anchorage, we'll transfer you to your hotel. Overnight Anchorage hotel.

Day 2: Anchorage - Denali

Departs From: Anchorage, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Anchorage Depot)
Arrives At: Denali, 4:50 PM (Train Arrives Denali Depot)

Travel north from Anchorage to Denali aboard a luxury railcar, following the route of the Alaska Railroad. Journey between the mountains of the spectacular Alaska and Talkeetna ranges and past sparkling rivers through the legendary Matanuska Valley. By early evening you’ll arrive in Denali National Park with time to explore the area. Overnight Denali-area hotel.

Day 3: Denali - Talkeetna

Departs From: Denali, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Denali Depot)
Arrives At: McKinley, 2:00 PM (Train Arrives Talkeetna Depot)

You'll continue your journey to Talkeetna on our domed railcars. You’ll stay at the beautiful Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, featuring quite possibly the most awesome view of the "Great One" in the state. Once there, you’ll have time for optional activities such as river tours and guided hikes. Overnight Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Day 4: Talkeetna - Anchorage

Departs From: McKinley, 2:15 PM (Train Talkeetna Denali Depot)
Arrives At: Anchorage, 5:15 PM (Train Arrives Anchorage Depot)

Enjoy a relaxing morning at the lodge or participate in an optional activity. Later, return to Talkeetna where you'll reboard the train for the return trip to Anchorage. Transfer to your hotel and soak in your last evening. Overnight Anchorage hotel.

Day 5: Anchorage

We’ll take you from your hotel to the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
