Gray Line Alaska bids farewell to summertime

Dear summer and our valued guests,
It’s been another great run! It feels like just yesterday the snow was melting and the birch trees were budding, but we’ve come to the end of another busy and bustling summer season in Alaska. We’ll miss the midnight sun, late-night hikes, river adventures and freshly-caught salmon on our dinner plates every night.
We’re headed right into fall now, and can’t wait for some chillier weather, warm sweaters, dark nights and hopefully a few glimpses of the aurora. Soon, we’ll be ice-skating, cross-country skiing and sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace while we catch up on our reading lists. We don’t hate an excuse to slow down for a while.
We’re saying goodbye to picking berries and growing fresh produce, and saying hello to winter hats and boots.
This summer, we’ve filled you in on our new self-drive tour, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite new businesses in the state and equipped you with our best shoulder season packing tips.
The changing of seasons always gets us excited, but we can’t wait to see you all again. It’s almost time to begin planning for next summer! 2019 tours go on sale October 2, so check back then to reserve your spot on your next Alaska adventure. We hope you visit us again next year.
