With four days and three nights, this tour offers you more time to explore the Denali area and take part in some of the optional excursions that make this area special. Raft one of Alaska's glacial rivers or visit an Iditarod musher's dog kennel and learn about the importance of dog sled teams to Alaska history. Don't forget that Denali National Park is your best chance to view Alaska's famed wildlife: moose, bears, foxes and wolverines!

Day 1: Anchorage - Denali

Departs From: Anchorage, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Anchorage Depot)
Arrives At: Denali, 4:50 PM (Train Arrives Denali Depot)

Departing from the Anchorage rail depot, you'll board one of our own railcars pulled by an Alaska Railroad locomotive for a journey to the Denali area. Enjoy magnificent views on our glass-domed railcars. Get to know the area this evening. Overnight Denali-area hotel.

Day 2: Denali

Overnight: Denali

Spend the day exploring Denali National Park or opt for an exciting excursion like rafting, golfing, or ATV riding. This evening, enjoy a fun time at Music of Denali Dinner Theater at McKinley Chalet Resort, included in your tour. Overnight Denali-area hotel. (D)

Day 3: Denali

Overnight: Denali

Another day in Denali gives you a chance to see more of this popular destination. Learn about the area at the Denali National Park Visitor Center, sign up for a photography workshop or visit with champion sled dogs at their kennel. Take it all in on your last night.  Overnight Denali-area hotel.

Day 4: Denali - Anchorage

Departs From: Denali, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Denali Depot)
Arrives At: Anchorage, 5:15 PM (Train Arrives Anchorage Depot)

Reboard the train and journey between the spectacular Alaska and Talkeetna ranges, which feature several spectacular peaks and glaciers, before heading back to Anchorage. Your tour ends at the Anchorage depot.
