This tour allows you to fully experience two of Alaska's great destinations. With two nights at Denali National Park and two nights at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, there’s ample time to see the abundant wildlife inside the park as well as catch a glimpse of the "Great One" from the Talkeetna area.

• Travel on the Alaska Railroad route aboard a luxury railcar
• Rail and hotel transfers in Denali and Talkeetna

Anchorage accommodations and travel to and from the Anchorage railroad depot are not included.

Day 1: Anchorage - Denali

Board the train at the Anchorage depot. The Alaska Railroad corridor lies between the mountains of the spectacular Alaska and Talkeetna ranges and journeys past sparkling rivers and through the legendary Matanuska Valley. By afternoon you’ll arrive at Denali National Park. Visit the tour desk to discover what optional excursions are available in the area. Overnight Denali-area hotel.

Day 2: Denali

The day is yours to explore all that Denali National Park has to offer. This evening, enjoy an unforgettable dinner experience at Music of Denali Dinner Theater at McKinley Chalet Resort. Overnight Denali-area hotel. (D)

Day 3: Denali - Talkeetna

You'll continue your journey to Talkeetna on our domed railcars. You’ll stay at the beautiful Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, featuring quite possibly the most awesome view of the "Great One" in the state. Once there, you’ll have time for optional activities such as hiking and river tours. Overnight Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Day 4: Talkeetna

Today, you'll have a full day to explore the area. Check out the walking trails at the lodge or opt for an excursion from the Tour Desk. Overnight Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Day 5: Talkeetna - Anchorage

Enjoy a leisurely morning with time for more exploration of the area.  Later, return to Talkeetna and reboard our double decker railcars and begin the return journey to Anchorage. Your vacation in Alaska comes to a close at the railroad depot.
