Upgrade your rail experience from Fairbanks to Denali for $100 per person. The standard tour features Alaska Railroad’s Adventure Class for this rail component of the tour. When you choose the upgrade, you will travel aboard Alaska Railroad's GoldStar service instead. Adventure Class railcars do not feature a dome and meals are available for purchase. GoldStar service is aboard Alaska Railroad’s domed railcars and breakfast aboard the train is included.
With the standard option, rail travel from Denali to to Anchorage is aboard our own luxury, glass-domed rail service (meals not included, but available for purchase) and the upgrade applies only to the portion of the trip from Fairbanks to Denali.
Unless noted, tour is not escorted and does not include meals, sightseeing or home city air.
Anchorage and Fairbanks accommodations and travel to and from the Anchorage and Fairbanks railroad depot are not included.

Experience the grand mountain that defines Alaska, the "Great One" and the abundant wildlife that thrives in Denali National Park on this 3-day, 2-night tour. Enjoy your time in the Denali area and take part in one of our several optional tours like rafting the Nenana River or a wilderness ATV adventure.

Day 1: Fairbanks – Denali
Departs From: Fairbanks, 8:15 AM (Train Departs Fairbanks Depot)
Arrives At: Denali, 12:10 PM (Train Arrives Denali Depot)
Board your train at the Fairbanks depot. Journey along the historic Alaska Railroad aboard Adventure Class service while you take in the wide-open scenery of Alaska's interior. Arrive in Denali National Park by early afternoon. Relax at your hotel or explore the Denali area by purchasing an optional excursion like a jet boat safari or ATV adventure. Overnight Denali-area hotel.
Day 2: Denali
Overnight: Denali
Enjoy an additional full day in Denali. Visit the lodge tour desk where friendly staff will assist in planning your day. Journey into Denali National Park on an optional guided tour or spend your day leisurely strolling the area. This evening, experience the Music of Denali Dinner Theater at McKinley Chalet Resort, included in your tour. Overnight Denali-area hotel. (D)
Day 3: Denali – Anchorage
Departs From: Denali, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Denali Depot)
Arrives At: Anchorage, 5:15 PM (Train Arrives Anchorage Depot)
Reboard a luxury railcar and travel to Alaska's largest city, Anchorage. Your tour ends at the Anchorage rail depot.
