Day 1: Anchorage

From the airport, we'll transfer you to your hotel. The day is yours to explore. Tonight, meet your Tour Director and fellow travel companions at a casual get together. Overnight Anchorage hotel. (S)

Day 2: Anchorage - Cooper Landing

Depart from Anchorage in a deluxe motor coach and travel to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, home to moose, bears, lynx, bison and more. Continue on to Cooper Landing and spend the night at Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge. (B, D)

Day 3: Cooper Landing - Seward - Cooper Landing

After breakfast, travel to Seward for a scenic Kenai Fjords National Park cruise where you may see glaciers, whales and otters. Return to Copper Landing for your second night at Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge. (B, L)

Day 4: Cooper Landing - Denali

Grab breakfast, then enjoy a scenic motor coach ride to the Denali National Park area, stopping for lunch enroute. Enjoy time on your own this evening to explore or take an optional excursion. Overnight Denali hotel. (B, L)

Day 5: Denali

This morning head into Denali National Park on a guided tour. Keep an eye out for the Big 5: moose, bear, Dall sheep, caribou and wolves. Overnight Denali hotel. (B, S)

Day 6: Denali - Fairbanks

Enjoy a morning on your own, then board a luxury railcar and head north to Fairbanks on the Alaska Railroad route with dinner served aboard the train. We’ll transfer you to your hotel upon arrival in Fairbanks. Overnight Fairbanks hotel. (B, D)

Day 7: Fairbanks

Fuel up with breakfast for a busy day ahead. Pan for gold at historic Gold Dredge 8 and a Chena River cruise in a sternwheeler, the Riverboat Discovery. In the evening, enjoy a group farewell dinner. Overnight Fairbanks hotel. (B, S, L, D)

Day 8: Fairbanks

Venture into the Golden Heart City and explore more of what Fairbanks has to offer before transferring to the airport and waving farewell to the Great Land.
