Anchorage / Talkeetna / Denali / Anchorage Rail Tour - 72G Itinerary
Experience our luxury domed railcars traveling roundtrip from Anchorage. With a night at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, and a night at Denali National Park, there’s ample time to experience the abundant wildlife and to visit viewpoints of the "Great One." This is a unique opportunity to see both the north and south side of the park.

Day 1: Anchorage – Talkeetna
Departs From: Anchorage, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Anchorage Depot)
Arrives At: McKinley, 12:15 PM (Train Arrives Talkeetna Depot)
Board a luxury railcar at the Anchorage depot and journey to the town of Talkeetna, the inspiration for the show "Northern Exposure." You’ll stay at the beautiful Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, featuring quite possibly the most awesome view of the "Great One" in the state. Once there, you’ll have time for optional activities such as hiking and river tours. Overnight Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.
Day 2: Talkeetna - Denali
Departs From: McKinley, 12:30 PM (Train Departs Talkeetna Depot)
Arrives At: Denali, 5:15 PM (Train Arrives Denali Depot)
Enjoy a morning at leisure to spend as you choose. Tranfer back to Talkeetna to continue your journey to Denali on our domed railcars. This afternoon, you'll arrive at Denali National Park with time to explore. Overnight Denali-area hotel.
Day 3: Denali – Anchorage
Departs From: Denali, 9:15 AM (Train Departs Denali Depot)
Arrives At: Anchorage, 5:45 PM (Train Arrives Anchorage Depot)
Reboard a glass domed railcar and enjoy the return leg of your Alaska train ride to Anchorage. Your tour ends at the Alaska Railroad depot in Anchorage.
