Denali Sightseeing Tours

Take an interpretive, guided walk in the Denali area with a professional naturalist guide who will point out the landmarks and tell stories of Denali’s human and natural history. Walk with a small group (6 guest maximum) through boreal forests and discover how plants and animals have adapted to the extreme subarctic environment. Stretch your legs to follow the footsteps of animals, and gain a new appreciation for this far north landscape. Trip is narrated by experienced guides who share their knowledge and love of Alaska. Walking with a guide informs and expands awareness of Denali’s ecosystems. Feel and smell the wilderness underfoot. Tour involves approximately two and a half hours of walking in a wilderness setting over uneven and unlevel trails. No food is provided on this tour, and guests should bring water. Bring appropriate clothing for changeable weather, including cool temperatures and rain.

Special Note

Maximum age is 80 years. Maximum weight is 300 lbs. Must be physically able to walk and stand on moderate terrain. Guests with back, neck, heart or mobility problems are not allowed to participate. Wear outdoor clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Trekking poles and extra rain gear provided. Tour operates rain or shine. Walking portion of tour is approximately 2½ hours.
